Description
This is a parable others may have heard but I spun it to match this art.
The old miner has been at it for years, ever since he staked his claim. He has mixed feelings whether he will ever find that big nugget. One day an important looking business man stopped by and said he had a great business plan for him. The business man asked him what his day to day life was like. The old miner said my donkey, dog, and I labor at trying to fulfill the dream of trying to find the big nugget and I believe they some how follow me in my dream. In the evening I have a good meal maybe roast something on my camp fire. Play a little on my old guitar and enjoy the company of my animal companions. If I am in the mood I go into town get supplies and talk to some great friends I have there. I miss my wife who died years ago but I have a full life.
The business man said here is my plan. Expand the operation with some equipment.
The miner asked then what?? Business man said hire people. Set yourself up in the city with an office and hire someone to take care of your animals with all the money you will make! The business man said this all might take a while but even at your age I think it will work. The miner asked then what??
The business man said, after you make enough you can retire to some nice little desert community. Get some animals to enjoy and work around your yard if you want. You can go into the town and find new friends also.
The miner then paused and thought. " I THINK I AM ALREADY THERE."
